    Factors Affecting the Use and Acceptance of 5G Networks: UTAUT Model Applications - Internet technology never stops making the development of the digital era enter the 5G technology stage. However, the market for 5G technology is still relatively small in Indonesia due to several factors, one of which is the uneven demand for communication technology in Indonesia. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze the behavior of internet users toward the 5G network by looking at what factors influence the community towards using the 5G network as a UTAUT approach. In analyzing the data, researchers used the SEM-GSCA method with 202 samples of 5G users in Indonesia. This study concludes that there are significant factors that influence people's interest in using the 5G network, including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating condition variables, while the social influence variable does not have a significant effect on interest in using the 5G network. In addition, it was found that there was a significant influence between the intention to use the 5G network and the intention to buy a subscription to the 5G network

    A Centralized SDN Architecture for the 5G Cellular Network

    In order to meet the increasing demands of high data rate and low latency cellular broadband applications, plans are underway to roll out the Fifth Generation (5G) cellular wireless system by the year 2020. This paper proposes a novel method for adapting the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP)'s 5G architecture to the principles of Software Defined Networking (SDN). We propose to have centralized network functions in the 5G network core to control the network, end-to-end. This is achieved by relocating the control functionality present in the 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) to the network core, resulting in the conversion of the base station known as the gNB into a pure data plane node. This brings about a significant reduction in signaling costs between the RAN and the core network. It also results in improved system performance. The merits of our proposal have been illustrated by evaluating the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the 5G network, such as network attach (registration) time and handover time. We have also demonstrated improvements in attach time and system throughput due to the use of centralized algorithms for mobility management with the help of ns-3 simulations

    Security Enhancement by Identifying Attacks Using Machine Learning for 5G Network

    Need of security enhancement for 5G network has been increased in last decade. Data transmitted over network need to be secure from external attacks. Thus there is need to enhance the security during data transmission over 5G network. There remains different security system that focus on identification of attacks. In order to identify attack different machine learning mechanism are considered. But the issue with existing research work is limited security and performance issue. There remains need to enhance security of 5G network. To achieve this objective hybrid mechanism are introduced. Different treats such as Denial-of-Service, Denial-of-Detection, Unfair use or resources are classified using enhanced machine learning approach. Proposed work has make use of LSTM model to improve accuracy during decision making and classification of attack of 5G network. Research work is considering accuracy parameters such as Recall, precision and F-Score to assure the reliability of proposed model. Simulation results conclude that proposed model is providing better accuracy as compared to conventional model
