Processos, práticas e competitividade: um estudo no contexto de startups: Processes, practices and competitiveness: a study in the context of startups

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em identificar os processos e práticas de gestão em uso em startups e analisar sua competitividade com base na visão baseada em recursos (RBV). Destaca-se que a natureza do trabalho é qualitativa utilizando-se de entrevistas em profundidade com um roteiro semiestruturado. Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam que as empresas analisadas sofreram várias mudanças durante o processo de formulação do serviço, o que se deve em grande parte ao acompanhamento do mercado, realizado pelas mesmas. Da mesma forma, se identificou o papel da incubadora, enquanto intermediária no compartilhamento de experiências e conhecimentos das empresas incubadas. Ademais, foi identificada a relevância do recurso pessoas na competitividade das startups, representando recursos valiosos para as três empresas entrevistadas e recursos insubstituíveis para as startups 2 e 3. Além disso, foi possível estabelecer relações entre a literatura de negócios e o contexto organizacional das startups investigadas. Palavras-Chave: Startups. Competitividade. Visão baseada em recursos.   Abstract: The objective of this work is to identify the management processes and practices used in startups and analyze their competitiveness based on the resource-based view (RBV). It is noteworthy that the nature of the work is qualitative using in-depth interviews with a semi-structured script. The research results show that the companies analyzed underwent several changes during the service formulation process, which is largely due to the market monitoring carried out by them. Likewise, the role of the incubator was identified, as an intermediary in sharing experiences and knowledge of incubated companies. Furthermore, the relevance of the people resource in the competitiveness of startups was identified, representing valuable resources for the three companies interviewed and irreplaceable resources for startups 2 and 3. Furthermore, it was possible to establish relationships between business literature and the organizational context of startups investigated. Keywords: Startups. Competitiveness. Resource-based view
