A relação da formação continuada de servidores públicos e os índices de governança entre os municípios do Paraná: The relationship between continuing education for public servants and governance indices among municipalities in Paraná

Abstract

A melhoria da governança pública pode proporcionar melhores resultados da prestação de serviços de interesse da sociedade. Para tanto, a atuação dos servidores pode ser elemento contributivo no contexto de atuação. Neste sentido, este estudo examina a relação entre a formação continuada de servidores públicos municipais e os índices de governança dos munícipios do estado do Paraná, Brasil. O estudo se caracteriza como exploratório e descritivo, com cunho quantitativo. Os resultados indicam que a formação continuada dos servidores tem correlação positiva sobre os índices de governança do PAIF. Com isso, argumenta-se que a formação contínua pode melhorar a qualidade dos serviços públicos e contribuir para resultados de governança melhores. Palavras-Chave: Gestão do conhecimento. Administração Pública. Governança.   Abstract: Improving public governance can lead to better results in the provision of services of interest to society. To this end, the performance of public servants can be a contributing element in this context. In this sense, this study examines the relationship between the continuing education of municipal public servants and the governance indices of municipalities in the state of Paraná, Brazil. The study is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, with a quantitative approach. The results indicate that the continuing education of public servants has a positive correlation with the governance indices of the PAIF (Program for the Improvement of Municipal Public Services). Therefore, it is argued that continuing education can improve the quality of public services and contribute to better governance outcomes. Keywords: Knowledge Management. Public Administration.
