La figura del Flâneur: una mirada histórica-crítica desde Jean-Jacques Rousseau hasta Dorde Cuvardic

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop a contemporary conceptualization of the figure of the flâneur, analyzing its evolution from the reflections of Rousseau (1712-1778) to Cuvardic (1969-). It will be noted how the notion of the flâneur incorporates unavoidable components of each era. However, there is a common element related to wandering through different spaces, with the city standing out as an epistemic object to reflect on, investigate and contemplate, thereby fostering literary creativity. This work offers a renewed perspective on this archetype, emphasizing its significance for understanding urban experience and contemporary subjectivity.El objetivo de esta investigación es desarrollar una conceptualización contemporánea de la figura del flâneur, analizando su evolución desde las reflexiones de Rousseau (1712-1778) hasta Cuvardic (1969-). Se advertirá cómo la noción del flâneur recoge ineludibles componentes de cada época. Sin embargo, hay un elemento común que tiene que ver con el deambular por distintos espacios, destacando entre ellos la ciudad como un objeto epistémico sobre el que reflexionar, investigar y contemplar para luego propiciar la creatividad literaria. Este trabajo aporta una perspectiva renovada respecto de este arquetipo, subrayando su trascendencia para comprender la experiencia urbana y la subjetividad contemporánea
