Analisis Bahaya Dan Penilaian Risiko Kerja Menggunakan Metode HIRARC di Area Produksi PT. Kurnia Luwuk Sejati: Pendekatan HIRARC dan FMEA dalam Pengendalian Risiko K3

Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a crucial aspect in the palm oil processing industry due to the high potential hazards present in the production area. This study aims to identify potential hazards, assess occupational risk levels, and determine risk control priorities in the production area of PT. Kurnia Luwuk Sejati using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The HIRARC results indicate that the Sterilizer, Tippler, and Boiler stations have risks classified as medium to high, with risk level values ranging from 5 to 12. The highest risks were found at the Tippler station (risk level 10) and the Boiler station (risk level 12). Further analysis using FMEA shows that the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) values were identified at the Sterilizer station (RPN 350), the Tippler station (RPN 180), and the Boiler station (RPN 252). The recommended risk control measures include engineering controls, administrative controls, and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce occupational risk levels. Keywords: Occupational Safety, HIRARC, Risk Level, FMEA, RPN
