Nemesis is the sadness caused by the undeserved prosperity of others. Unlike other passions and virtues, Thomas Aquinas did not dedicate a singular treatment to Nemesis in his work; rather, he mentions it occasionally or in connection with other themes. The objective of our work is to identify all these references and give them a unified meaning within Thomistic thought, particularly distinguishing the use of Nemesis as a passion and as a habit (or potential virtue of distributive justice).La némesis es la tristeza causada por la prosperidad inmerecida del prójimo.
