Perfis Linguísticos do Par Libras-Língua Portuguesa

Abstract

In this article, we propose to outline the relationships of bilingual codas with the Brazilian sign language (Libras) and Portuguese, in order to verify linguistic practices and attitudes towards relationships with the communities they are part of. With these questions in mind, this research analyzes interviews from the linguistic corpus Bimodal Bilingual Overlap, with the aim of answering questions regarding language relations, linguistic profile, linguistic attitudes, language dominance and describing, in addition to the importance of sign language and spoken language in oral and written form. The research consists of a qualitative approach with quantitative aspects, of an explanatory nature, that is, it explains the phenomena, not being restricted to just describing them. From the results, it is highlighted that bilinguals develop different behaviors and attitudes when choosing the language to use in a certain type of communication, whether with deaf or hearing people.Neste artigo, nos propomos, delinear como são as relações dos codas bilíngues com a língua brasileira de sinais (Libras) e o português, a fim de verificar as práticas linguísticas, as atitudes diante das relações com as comunidades que se insere. Tendo em vista essas questões, a presente pesquisa faz uma análise de entrevistas do corpus linguístico Sobreposição Bilíngue Bimodal, com o objetivo de responder questões relativas sobre as relações das línguas, perfil linguístico, atitudes linguísticas, dominância de línguas e descrever, além da importância da língua de sinais e a língua falada na modalidade oral e escrita. A pesquisa se constitui por uma abordagem qualitativa com aspectos quantitativos, de cunho explicativo, ou seja, explica os fenômenos, não se restringindo apenas a descrevê-los. Dos resultados, destaca-se que o bilíngue desenvolve diferentes comportamentos e atitudes quando escolhe a língua para usar em determinado tipo de comunicação, se com surdos ou ouvintes
