Assessment of somatic build, physical fitness, and cognitive abilities of school-aged youth following the implementation of an self-developed training intervention in the form of a warm-up

Wojciech Czarny ; promotor pomocniczy: dr Piotr Matłosz - 89 s.Głównym celem niniejszej pracy była ocena budowy somatycznej, sprawności fizycznej oraz funkcji poznawczych młodzieży szkolnej przed i po wdrożeniu autorskiej, wielozadaniowej interwencji treningowej realizowanej w formie rozgrzewki. Badaniem objęto 104 uczniów Dwujęzycznego Liceum Uniwersyteckiego im. Stanisława Barańczaka w Rzeszowie, w tym 53 kobiety (51%) oraz 51 mężczyzn (49%) w wieku od 13 do 18 lat. Uczestników podzielono losowo na grupę badaną i grupę kontrolną. W grupie eksperymentalnej wdrożono autorski program ćwiczeń ruchowych 2 w trakcie rozgrzewki. Zarówno grupa badana, jak i kontrolna zostały poddane dwukrotnym pomiarom obejmującym testy sprawności fizycznej, testy psychologiczne oraz antropometryczne pomiary ciała. Zastosowana interwencja treningowa przyczyniła się do istotnych statystycznie, korzystnych zmian w składzie ciała, wydolności fizycznej oraz funkcjach poznawczych uczestników. Zaobserwowane efekty miały głównie charakter ogólnorozwojowy, przy zachowaniu względnej stabilności wskaźników klasyfikacyjnych takich jak wskaźnik masy ciała (BMI) i poziom otłuszczenia. Interwencja nie wykazała jednoznacznego wpływu na redukcję nadwagi lub otyłości.The main objective of this study was to assess the somatic structure, physical fitness, and cognitive functions of school-aged youth before and after the implementation of a proprietary, multi-task training intervention conducted in the form of a warm-up. The study involved 104 students from the Stanisław Barańczak Bilingual University High School in Rzeszów, including 53 females (51%) and 51 males (49%), aged between 13 and 18 years. The participants were randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group underwent an original exercise program incorporated into their warm-up routines. Both the experimental and control groups underwent two rounds of assessment, which included physical fitness tests, psychological tests, and anthropometric body measurements. The implemented training intervention resulted in statistically significant, beneficial changes in body composition, physical capacity, and cognitive functions among the participants. The observed effects were primarily of a general developmental nature, with relative stability in classification indices such as Body Mass Index (BMI) and body fat levels.
