Evaluation économique des festivals culturels locaux et leurs contributions au développement territorial au Maroc

Abstract

This article offers an economic analysis of local cultural festivals and their contribution to territorial development in Morocco. This research highlights three major pillars: Firstly, the direct and indirect impacts of cultural festivals, resulting from the cooperation of various agents, take on economic, social, and cultural dimensions. Secondly, the enhancement of intangible and cultural heritage within the framework of a strategy to preserve our traditions through festivals. Thirdly, the social and community dimension of these events which translates into pride and local and territorial representation. All while identifying the limitations of these festivals, such as the geographical concentration in large cities, the environmental impact, and sometimes restricted access to culture for a category of people in precarious situations.   Classification JEL : R11, Z11, Z10 Paper Type : Theoretical Research   Le Maroc, par sa diversité culturelle, a vu son nombre de festivals culturels augmenter d’année en année. Cette évolution a pu voir le jour grâce à des stratégies politiques et économiques adéquates. Ainsi, nous pouvons poser la problématique suivante : Comment les festivals culturels ont contribué au développement territorial au Maroc ? Cet article se basera principalement sur la méthode ACB ainsi que la méthode Input-Output. Aussi, la recherche se basera sur des articles journalistiques traitants des festivals Jazzablanca, Mawazine et le festival Gnaoua, ainsi que des documents officiels émanant des institutions gouvernementales au cours des années 2024 et 2025.   Classification JEL : R11, Z11, Z10 Type du papier : Revue narrativ
