REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DE ALUNO COM DEFICIÊNCIA INTELECTUAL: MARCAS NO ATO DE ENSINAR E APRENDER NA CONTEMPORANEIDADE

Abstract

This summary presents ongoing research in the Master\u27s Program in Education and Contemporaneity at UNEB, using a qualitative approach and case study conducted at CAPE-BA, in Salvador. The participants are five individuals with intellectual disabilities, aged 16 to 35, selected based on their interest. The methodology involves interviews, conversation circles, and canvas painting. The study is grounded in the theory of social representations by Serge Moscovici and supported by authors such as Jodelet, Marková, Vygotsky, and Pêcheux. The objective is to understand the social representations held by students with intellectual disabilities and how these influence teaching and learning processes, in light of legal frameworks like the 1988 Constitution, the LDB, LBI. The research aims to identify inclusive strategies that foster student agency. Preliminary findings reveal that participants carry within them desire, silence, fear, the unspoken, discursive forms, and the act of listening.  Este trabalho apresenta uma pesquisa no mestrado em Educação e Contemporaneidade da UNEB, com abordagem qualitativa e estudo de caso, realizada no CAPE-BA, em Salvador (BA). Teve como sujeitos seis alunos, com deficiência intelectual, entre 16 e 28 anos. Utilizou entrevistas, rodas de conversa e pintura em tela como dispositivos metodológicos. Assentou-se na Teoria das Representações Sociais defendida por Serge Moscovici e em autores como Jodelet, Marková e Pêcheux. O objetivo foi apreender representações sociais manifestas e latentes de aluno com deficiência intelectual e suas implicações no processo de ensinar e aprender na contemporaneidade. Amparou-se em marcos legais como a Constituição de 1988, LDB e LBI. Pretendeu-se identificar as representações socias destes alunos com vistas a possibilitar o protagonismo de suas histórias. Os achados da pesquisa revelaram ancoragens em: preconceito, invisibilidade, silêncio e desejo.
