Aktivitas Siber Pada Akun Instagram @Zaskiadyamecca Terhadap Palestina

Abstract

The development of social media has created a new space for social participation through cyber activities, including in supporting humanitarian issues. Influencers now play a role not only in product promotion, but also in building public opinion and inviting real actions such as donating. This study aims to describe how Zaskia Adya Mecca's credibility as an influencer is formed through her cyber activities on Instagram which can play a role in building her followers' interest in donating to Palestine. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation and documentation of Instagram content uploads. The analysis was carried out using Hovland's Source Credibility theory which includes three dimensions: trustworthiness, expertise, and attractiveness. The results of the study show that Zaskia's credibility is formed through consistency in raising the issue of Palestine, direct involvement in the field, and emotional closeness to her followers. Cyber activities carried out strategically and authentically also help shape positive perceptions and encourage donation participation from the audience
