Jumping Rope Fitness Exercise: Target Rapid Weight Reduction

Abstract

This study aims to target rapid weight loss using the jumping rope exercise routine for the students at Visayas State University. In addition, it was hypothesized that there was a significant result of weight loss after the execution of the jumping rope exercise routine. Specifically, it focused on the ten selected undergraduate students currently enrolled in different degree programs at Visayas State University-Main Campus in Baybay City for the mid-year classes of 2022-2023. The study utilized the quasi-experimental design, and the respondents were chosen through self-selection with their complete willingness to participate or the researcher's decisions to determine the respondent's participation in the treatment. Further, the data were collected from assessments recorded by the researchers and by conducting a face-to-face review. The findings revealed that the jumping rope exercise routine significantly affects weight reduction. Therefore, it is concluded that the jumping rope exercise routine attained the targeting of rapid weight reduction
