Legal protection against deepfakes: analysis of current regulations and regulatory challenges

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene por objeto el análisis del estado regulatorio actual de los nuevos desafíos legales que suponen la Inteligencia Artificial y, particularmente, los deepfakes en el ámbito del derecho civil. Con este propósito evaluaré las principales normativas vigentes en este ámbito, haciendo hincapié en la situación actual en Europa y España y explorando las posibles direcciones a las que se puede encaminar la legislación en los próximos años. El auge de los deepfakes genera nuevos dilemas jurídicos debido a que su uso puede llevar a la vulneración de los derechos de privacidad, la estafa o la manipulación de la identidad.
