Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. Znanstveno literaturo smo iskali v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah PubMed, CINAHL Ultimate in Web of Science, in sicer s pomočjo iskalnega niza. Upoštevali smo smernice PRISMA. Vključene članke smo prikazali v evalvacijski tabeli in jih vsebinsko analizirali. Ključne so jasne rutine in sodelovanje s strokovnjaki. Celosten pristop, ki vključuje otroka in družino, izboljšuje kakovost življenja vseh članov.Hyperkinetic disorder is a common neurodevelopmental condition in children, characterized by hyperactivity, impulsivity, attention deficits, and social difficulties. It negatively affects the child\u27s functioning at school and within the family, and causes stress and emotional exhaustion for parents. The purpose of this thesis is to examine its impact. We used the descriptive research method. Scientific literature was searched in international databases PubMed, CINAHL Ultimate, and Web of Science using a search string. We followed the PRISMA guidelines. The articles were presented in an evaluation table and analyzed thematically. Out of 447 studies, 10 were included in the final analysis. We found that the disorder in the child significantly reduces the quality of life of the family. In the thematic analysis, we identified one main category and three subcategories: (1) developmental and behavioral consequences, (2) emotional and social impacts within the family environment, and (3) family burdens and adaptations. Hyperkinetic disorder in a child places a significant burden on the family, causing stress and requiring adaptation and support. Clear routines and collaboration with professionals are essential. A holistic approach that includes both the child and the family improves the quality of life for all family members
