Los impactos ambientales y jurídicos de la industria textil en el derecho de la moda

Abstract

Currently, the excessive production of textile products and the rise of the fast fashion model causes a continuous but constant deterioration of the environment. For this reason, this article intends to analyze the impacts of the textile industry from an environmental perspective and the defense of people\u27s rights. To do this, we will address the difference between two models of the fashion industry: fast fashion, and the alternative model of slow fashion. Finally, the role that Fashion Law should have in the design and elaboration of the necessary regulation for the protection of the environment and the adoption of sustainable fashion models will be considered. Actualmente, la excesiva producción de productos textiles y el auge del modelo de moda rápida provocan un continuo, pero constante deterioro del medioambiente. Por ello, este artículo pretende analizar los impactos de la industria textil desde una óptica ambientalista y de defensa de los derechos de las personas. Para ello, abordaremos la diferencia entre dos modelos de la industria de la moda: fast fashion, y el modelo alternativo de slow fashion. Finalmente, se planteará el papel que debe tener el Derecho de la Moda en el diseño y elaboración de la regulación necesaria para la protección del ambiente y la adopción de modelos de moda sostenible
