“El rol del director y su influencia en la calidad del proceso administrativo” (Estudios realizados en INEB Telesecundaria de Colonia la Independencia, Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez).

Abstract

Abstract To prepare this report, a series of actions were necessary, including the collection of information through surveys administered to the school principal and the teachers working there. Parents and students were interviewed to gain a broader picture of how the school is managed. The objective is to contribute to improving some administrative processes that, according to the research, were identified as weaknesses. It is important to mention that Article 37 of Legislative Decree 12-91 describes the mandatory duties of school principals in accordance with their administrative function. It is important to note that taking action to improve a school depends on the principal's willingness to make significant changes, as long as the law is followed. Likewise, the qualities that the principal must possess in order to be able to carry out the activities that are carried out daily in the educational center in the most appropriate manner are defined, as well as some important aspects such as empathy, flexibility, transparency and innovation with the educational community and the constant search for new opportunities that provide development and quality in education, which is what is expected, not only as a dream or an idea, but as something that the principal yearns to carry out, which is why some interventions are outlined in this report
