El maltrato animal como una manifestación de la violencia doméstica

Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze animal abuse as a manifestation of domestic violence. The development of the method was through the inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous, and deep exploration of various documentary sources made up of articles and laws, describing the findings. The documentary review technique made it possible to obtain valuable information to frame the events and problems that were the object of analysis. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that animal abuse is a manifestation that can lead to gender violence and requires urgent attention in the field of academic research and legal practice. Although Ecuadorian legislation punishes animal abuse as a criminal offense and protects victims of domestic violence, there is a lack of integration between the two regulationsEl objetivo general de la investigación fue analizar el maltrato animal como una manifestación de la violencia doméstica. El desarrollo del método fue mediante la indagación, recolección y análisis crítico documental y referencial bibliográfico, basándose en la exploración metódica, rigurosa y profunda de diversas fuentes documentales conformadas por artículos y leyes, describiendo los hallazgos encontrados. La técnica la revisión documental, permitió obtener información valiosa para encuadrar los acontecimientos, problemas que fueron objeto de análisis. Se recurrió, además, al método inductivo-deductivo. Se concluye que, El maltrato animal es una manifestación que puede propiciar la violencia de género y requiere una atención urgente en el ámbito de la investigación académica y la práctica legal. Si bien la legislación ecuatoriana sanciona penalmente el maltrato animal y protege a las víctimas de violencia doméstica, existe una falta de integración entre ambas normativas
