Sistem Penyiraman Tanaman Kacang Tanah Berbasis Microkontroler

Abstract

Watering plants is an activity carried out by farmers in the process of plant maintenance, as plants require sufficient water intake. For ideal growth, peanut plants need soil moisture levels of 40% - 60% and an air temperature of 28C – 32C. This research aims to design a prototype irrigation system that considers temperature and soil moisture parameters. The DHT11 sensor is used to measure air temperature, and a soil moisture sensor is used to measure the level of soil moisture. All tools and sensors used for the prototype device will be controlled by a Raspberry Pi. Based on this research, irrigating peanut plants with a microcontroller-based temperature and soil moisture sensor is a system that can be used as an option for watering peanut plants
