De «la Gloriosa» a la Guerra Civil. Un modelo de composición musical española de extracción eclesiástica: Miguel Arnaudas Larrodé

Abstract

Surely for the first time in the scientific-academic and musicological field, and with a monographic nature, the present paper aims to deepen on the figure and work of the musician Miguel Arnaudas. He lived between a revolution and a war, in a particularly intense period of time, both in the sociopolitical and artistic and cultural spheres. Here, critically, the biography of a musician is outlined, a calm and peaceful man, who turned to a musical diligence ‘of service’ wherever he carried out his activity. And a first ‘raisonné’ inventory of his extensive musical production is provided, with a view to gathering scattered materials, as well as facilitating further research, focusing on the cultivation and musical activity, in Saragossa, and especially in the ecclesiastical sphere, during the first third of the 20th century.El presente artículo pretende profundizar ―seguramente por vez primera en ámbito científico-académico y musicológico, con carácter monográfico― en la figura y la obra de Miguel Arnaudas, un músico que vivió en un lapso temporal particularmente intenso, tanto en lo sociopolítico como en lo artístico y cultural, a caballo entre una revolución, y una guerra. Se perfila aquí, críticamente, la biografía de un músico, un hombre tranquilo, pacífico, que se volcó en una laboriosidad musical ‘de servicio’ allá donde ejerció su actividad. Y se aporta un primer inventario ‘raisonné’ de su amplia producción musical, con vistas a reunir materiales dispersos, así como a facilitar ulteriores investigaciones, poniendo el foco en el cultivo y actividad musical, en Zaragoza, y especialmente en ámbito eclesiástico, durante el primer tercio del siglo XX
