Abstract
目的 実習指導者として任命されていないスタッフ看護師が実習指導で体験した困難感を明らかにする.
方法 自記式質問紙により実習指導で体験した困難感の調査を行い,得られた回答をテキストマイニングを用いて計量的に内容分析を行った.
結果 720人分の質問紙を配布し183人分の回答を得た.スタッフ看護師の体験した困難感は【患者の受け持ちと実習指導の兼務による業務多忙】【疾患の理解やバイタルサイン・観察・報告の方法を伝え・考えさせることの難しさ】【学校による実習記録や評価基準の違い】等の 5 コードに分類された.またスタッフ看護師の看護師経験年数によっても困難な体験に違いがみられた.
考察 抽出されたコードは,スタッフ看護師と実習指導者,スタッフ看護師と学生,スタッフ看護師と教員との関係の 3 つに大別された.また看護師経験年数によっても困難と思うことの違いがあり,それぞれに対応した実習指導教育システムを構築する必要がある.Objective This study aims to investigate the challenges experienced by staff nurses who are not appointed as practice supervisors in teaching practice.
Methods A self-administered questionnaire was utilized to assess the challenges encountered during practical training instruction. The responses were subjected to quantitative content analysis using text mining.
Results We distributed questionnaires to 720 participants and obtained 183 responses. We categorized the challenges experienced by the staff nurses into five codes, namely, “intense workload due to concurrent duties of caring for patients and providing practical training,” “difficulty in communicating and helping them understand diseases, vital signs, observations, and reporting methods,” and “differences in practical training records and evaluation criteria depending on schools.” Additionally, differences in difficult experiences were identified depending on the years of nursing experience of the staff nurses.
Discussion The extracted codes were classified into three categories: relationships between staff nurses and practice supervisors, relationships between staff nurses and students, and relationships between staff nurses and faculty. We found that problems encountered by staff nurses varied depending on their years of nursing experience. It is therefore necessary to construct a practical training guidance and education system for each of these relationships
