Abstract
Self-regulated learning in medical education - datasets
Two datasets from two studies conducted as part of the FWF project "Self-regulated learning in medical education" (P 33913; PI: Dr. Evelyn Steinberg; University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna) are included.
The purpose of the cross sectional questionnaire-based study 2* was to examine the psychometric properties of newly developed scales and single-items on the topic of undergraduate health sciences studens\u27 self-regulated learning in the workplace. Data was collected between 6th and 17th December 2021 using the online survey tool uniparkc (EFS Survey, 2021).
The purpose of the intensive longitudinal questionnaire-based study 3 was to analyze (1) the stable trait, autoregressive trait, and time-varying state components of undergraduate health sciences studens\u27 self-regulated learning in the workplace and (2) changes in self-regulated learning over time. Data was collected over the course of one semester, spanning from July 25, 2022, to January 27, 2023 using the online survey tool uniparkc (EFS Survey, 2022). Note that while the data collection period spanned 25 weeks in total, individual students spent 15 weeks in the workplace.
