The provision of quality public services as a tool to fight rural depopulation

Abstract

Existe consenso en considerar que, entre los factores que inciden sobre el fenómeno de la despoblación rural, se encuentra la prestación de los servicios que demandan los ciudadanos y que inciden sobre su calidad de vida. Partiendo de esta premisa, parece evidente que las políticas de lucha contra la despoblación deberían incluir medidas destinadas a garantizar el acceso a los servicios públicos esenciales. Este estudio pretende abordar un análisis de los planes autonómicos de lucha contra la despoblación para verificar si tienen en cuenta esta variable dentro de su contenido y cómo la recogen.
