O estudo tem como objetivo analisar as práticas de sustentabilidade e inovação sustentável no setor textil, apartir de uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL). A RSL, se deu apartir de se deu por meio de 29 documentos da base de dados Web of Science, os quais permitiu identificar tendências e iniciativas sustentáveis. As palavras-chave "sustentabilidade" e "economia circular" foram as mais frequentes, destacando o foco crescente nessas abordagens. Os periódicos Journal Cleaner Production e Sustainability-Basel tiveram maior conexão de cocitação, enquanto o periódico Sustainability emergiu como a principal fonte de publicações. O artigo mais citado discutiu desafios e oportunidades para empresas de upcycling. Conclui-se que a economia circular domina as práticas sustentáveis no setor, oferecendo um caminho promissor para mitigar impactos ambientais e promover inovação.

Abstract: The study aims to analyze sustainability practices and sustainable innovation in the textile sector, based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The SRL was based on 29 documents from the Web of Science database, which made it possible to identify sustainable trends and initiatives. The keywords “sustainability” and “circular economy” were the most frequent, highlighting the growing focus on these approaches. The journals Journal Cleaner Production and Sustainability-Basel had the highest co-citation connection, while the journal Sustainability emerged as the main source of publications. The most cited article discussed challenges and opportunities for upcycling companies. It is concluded that the circular economy dominates sustainable practices in the sector, offering a promising path to mitigate environmental impacts and promote innovation.
