Abstract

Concrete has advantages, including being able to be easily shaped according to needs, being able to carry quite heavy loads, being resistant to high temperatures, and having relatively low maintenance costs. Compared to compressive strength, concrete has a relatively smaller tensile strength. To increase the tensile strength value, this canxbexdonexbyxaddingxfiberxtoxthexconcretexmixture. Plastic waste can be used as additional material in making fiber concrete. Because we often encounter fibers from plastic waste and are very easy to obtain, such as waste from plastic cups and mineral water bottles. In the following research, a discussion of three previous studies was carried out regarding the influence of compressivexstrengthxandxtensilexstrengthxofxconcrete using additional materials in the form of waste plastic cups, used glass packaging and used mineral water bottles with variationsxinxthexpercentagexof fiber added materials ofx0%,x 0.5%, 0.6% andx0.7% based on the volume of the test object
