Abstract
Praktična primjena takvog sustava pokriva brojne scenarije: od kontrole pristupa u privatnim i poslovnim zgradama do integracije s inteligentnim sustavima i daljinskog nadzora.
This final thesis deals with the development of an automatic control system for a movable fence using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) device. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the possibilities of using PLC technology in access control systems and to design a functional and reliable model that allows the opening and closing of the fence based on user and sensor input signals.
The paper analyzes the technical components of the system - including sensors, actuators, a PLC unit and additional equipment - and creates a program code for controlling the process. Special emphasis is placed on security functions such as time locking and priority logic for multiple inputs. The program logic is created in a suitable programming environment and tested using simulation software.
The practical application of such a system covers numerous scenarios: from access control in private and commercial buildings to integration with intelligent systems and remote monitoring. The advantage of using a PLC device in such an environment is easy maintenance, flexibility in upgrades and a high level of reliability. The system is designed modularly, which allows for easy expansion of functionality, e.g. by wireless control or connection to mobile applications.
The result of the work is a complete solution for an automated fence management system that can be customized to the specific needs of the user. This confirms the importance and usefulness of PLC technology in everyday technical solutions, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency and adaptability
