Gender dysphoria and undergoing female to male surgical procedures

Abstract

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice genderové dysforie a podstupování female to male chirurgických zákroků. Teoretická část zahrnuje informace týkající se terminologie, aspektů rodové neshody, procesu tranzice a také blíže popisuje možnosti chirurgických zákroků, perioperační péči a právní problematiku. Výzkumná část obsahuje data znázorňující poznatky z oblasti rodové neshody. Tato část se věnuje především vlivu operativní tranzice na kvalitu života u female-to-male osob.Thesis is devoted to the issue of gender dysphoria and undergoing female to male surgical procedures. The theoretical part includes information regarding terminology, aspects of gender nonconformity, the transition process and also describes the options for surgical procedures, perioperative care, and legal issues. The research part contains data illustrating findings from the field of gender discordance.
