Abstract

Technology is growing rapidly and becoming a big part of how we live and work. But as we move forward with new tools and systems, we also face more digital threats. Cybersecurity is no longer something optional—it is a need. What motivated me to choose this topic is the clear gap I noticed between the speed of technological adoption and the slower pace of cybersecurity awareness and training. I strongly believe that security should always come first. This thesis, “Identification of Factors Affecting Cybersecurity Training Adoption,” explores the different reasons why individuals and organizations either adopt or ignore cybersecurity training. The goal of this research is to identify the barriers and enablers to better training adoption so that companies and institutions can improve their efforts in building a secure digital environmen
