Evaluation of the Center for Crime Prevention and Safety

Abstract

Dit rapport bevat de evaluatie van het CCV (2019-2024). Een belangrijk kenmerk van het CCV is dat het jaarlijks subsidie ontvangt van het ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid (JenV) voor de basisprogrammering. Deze basissubsidie is onderwerp van deze evaluatie en beslaat de periode 2019-2024. In de afgelopen twintig jaar is de basissubsidie van het CCV twee keer geëvalueerd (2013 en 2019). Daarmee wordt voldaan aan de verplichting om vijfjaarlijks (deels) gesubsidieerde organisaties te evalueren op hun effectiviteit en efficiëntie. De evaluatie moet inzicht geven in de wijze waarop de bijdrage van het CCV leidt tot meerwaarde voor de samenleving. Daarbij wordt ook gekeken naar de toerusting van het CCV en de mate waarin deze voldoende is om die meerwaarde te realiseren voor maatschappij en stakeholders. Tevens is het belangrijk om na te gaan in welke mate het CCV opvolging heeft gegeven aan de aanbevelingen uit de evaluaties van 2013 en 2019. Ten slotte brengt de evaluatie de efficiëntie van het CCV in kaart.
