Content of peer-reviewed scientific articles in spanish on neuroeducation in CICCO Paraguay. content analysis assisted by artificial intelligence.

Abstract

The present study corresponds to the exploratory-descriptive analysis of the contents of peer-reviewed scientific article abstracts in Spanish on neuroeducation, available on the Cicco Paraguay platform. For this, a non-experimental exploratory-descriptive study with a mixed-methods approach and longitudinal design was employed. Methodological tools used include content analysis assisted by artificial intelligence and bibliometric analysis through Business Intelligence software. The sample consists of 73 abstracts of peer-reviewed scientific articles in Spanish on neuroeducation, available through the Cicco Paraguay service. The concepts of neuroeducation, neuroscience, and education were used as search operators, assisted by the Boolean operators AND and OR in the fields: title, keywords, and abstract. The time frame considered was from 2020 to 2024. Among the most important quantitative results, it was found that 23.29% of the abstracts were written in a language that did not match the selected filter; that the most frequent types of articles were original research (42.47%) and literature reviews (24.66%); and that the most studied research topics were cognitive neuropsychology (24.66%) and neuroscience (21.92%). Qualitative results highlight that to improve the readability of the abstracts, it would be beneficial to better describe the methodology, including details of the sample. Additionally, it was noted that artificial intelligence is a powerful tool to assist researchers, although it requires competent human interaction to maximize its potential. In conclusion, the significant contribution of the Cicco Paraguay service, which provides high-quality publications to researchers, should be emphasized. These positive aspects could be further enhanced with some adjustments, as outlined in the results of this study.El presente trabajo corresponde al análisis exploratorio-descriptivo de los contenidos de los resúmenes de artículos científicos revisados por pares en español sobre neuroeducación, disponibles en la plataforma Cicco Paraguay. Para ello, se recurre a un estudio no experimental de nivel exploratorio-descriptivo, con enfoque mixto y corte longitudinal. Como herramientas metodológicas, se utilizan el análisis de contenido asistido por inteligencia artificial y el análisis bibliométrico a través de software de Business Intelligence. La muestra está compuesta por 73 resúmenes de artículos científicos revisados por pares en español sobre neuroeducación, disponibles en el servicio de Cicco Paraguay. Los conceptos de neuroeducación, neurociencia y educación se emplearon como operadores de búsqueda, asistidos por los operadores booleanos AND y OR en los campos: título, palabras clave y resumen. Se asumió como marco temporal los años 2020 a 2024. Entre los resultados cuantitativos más importantes, se destaca que el 23,29% de los resúmenes se encuentran redactados en un idioma que no corresponde al filtro seleccionado; que los trabajos con mayor recurrencia corresponden a los artículos originales (42,47%) y a los de revisión bibliográfica (24,66%); y que los temas de investigación más trabajados son neuropsicología cognitiva (24,66%) y neurociencia (21,92%). Como resultados cualitativos, se destaca que para mejorar la comprensibilidad de los resúmenes sería conveniente describir mejor la metodología, incluyendo detalles de la muestra; además, se señala que la inteligencia artificial es una herramienta poderosísima para auxiliar el trabajo del investigador, aunque requiere de una interacción humana competente para sacarle el mayor provecho. Como conclusión, se debe destacar el gran aporte del servicio de Cicco Paraguay, que pone a disposición de los investigadores publicaciones de altísima calidad. Estos aspectos positivos se pueden potenciar aún más con algunos ajustes que se presentan en los resultados de este trabajo
