Abstract

Title Legal Certainty of the Protestant Christian Church in Yogyakarta City. Granting land rights is a hereditary right and is the strongest and most reliable way to own land (Law No. 5 of 1960; Article 20 paragraph 1). Furthermore, land ownership rights can only be granted to Indonesian citizens. However, it can also be granted to legal entities, which meet the requirements or are able to meet certain requirements in accordance with Government Regulation Number 38 of 1963. To obtain legal certainty, legal subjects must register the land. Land registration will result in the issuance of a land certificate which is a manifestation of the legal certainty. The Protestant Church in Western Indonesia, Marga Mulya and the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia, Hagios Family have different land rights. GPIB Marga Mulya obtained a Certificate of Ownership Rights while GPdi Hagios Family obtained Building Use Rights as a manifestation of its legal certainty
