Una constelación de revistas antiimperialistas : la labor proselitista del aprismo en el Sector Caribe (1927-1928)

Abstract

Exploración de la labor proselitista en el Sector Caribe de la Alianza Popular Revolucionaria Americana (apra) a partir de dos revistas culturales: Atuei, publicada entre noviembre de 1927 y agosto de 1928 por la sección cubana, e Indoamérica, correspondiente al apra mexicana y publicada entre julio y no- viembre de 1928. Por un lado se aborda la conformación del aprismo cubano, la publicación de Atuei y sus redes revisteriles e intelectuales mediante un rastreo de sus colaboradores y de los anuncios en la revista. En cuanto al aprismo mexicano, se analizará, además de las redes y anuncios de Indoamérica, la cobertura de la gira centroamericana de Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre (1895-1979), fundador del apra y su dirigente histórico.Exploration of the proselytist labor carried out by the Caribbean Section of Alianza Popular Revolucionaria Americana (apra) in two different cultural journals: Atuei, published from November, 1927 to August, 1928 by the Cuban section; and Indoamérica, undertaken by the Mexican section and published from July to November, 1928. On the one side, by analyzing Atuei’s authors and the announcements published there, this paper addresses the publishing process of the journal, the conformation of the Cuban section of the apra, and its journalist and intellectual networks. On the other, and regarding the Mexican section, the paper analyzes both the networks and announcements of Indoamérica and the coverage of the trip undertaken to Central America by Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre (1895-1979), founder of apra and its historical leader
