Methodological Approach to the Development of Digital Competence of Researchers and Pedagogical Staff Using the Information and Analytical System “Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science”

Abstract

У публікації представлено методологічний підхід до розвитку цифрової компетентності наукових і науково-педагогічних працівників з використанням інформаційно-аналітичної системи «Бібліометрика української науки». Розглянуто компоненти розвитку цифрової компетентності наукових і науково-педагогічних працівників, виокремлено основні завдання та рекомендацій щодо реалізації зазначеної методики. Ці рекомендації можуть сприяти розвитку цифрової компетентності науковців і науково-педагогічних працівників, а також підвищенню якості наукових досліджень в Україні. Завдяки впровадженню наведених компонентів та рекомендацій, наукові і науково-педагогічні працівники зможуть покращити свої цифрову компетентність та ефективніше використовувати сучасні інформаційно-аналітичні системи у своїй діяльності. Система «Бібліометрика української науки» – це інформаційно-аналітична платформа, яка забезпечує доступ до статистичних даних про наукову продуктивність українських науковців, установ та журналів. Вона збирає, аналізує та представляє дані про публікації, цитування та інші важливі метрики, що використовуються для оцінки наукової діяльності. Розвиток цифрової компетентності наукових та науково-педагогічних працівників є необхідною умовою для підвищення якості наукових досліджень в Україні та важливим аспектом сучасної освіти і науки, тому використання системи «Бібліометрика української науки» може стати ефективним інструментом у цьому процесі. Систематичний підхід у навчанні та підтримці наукових працівників не лише покращить їх навички, але й спростить інтеграцію нових технологій у наукову діяльність. Це дозволить не лише оптимізувати управління науковою інформацією, але й створить сприятливе середовище для розвитку науки в цілому. Швидкий розвиток інформаційно-цифрових технологій вимагає постійних досліджень використання електронних систем відкритого доступу.The publication presents a methodological approach to the development of digital competence of researchers and academic staff using the information and analytical system “Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science”. The components of the development of the digital competence of researchers and research and pedagogical staff are considered, the main tasks and recommendations for the implementation of this methodology are highlighted. These recommendations can contribute to the development of the digital competence of scientists and research and pedagogical staff, as well as to improving the quality of scientific research in Ukraine. Through the implementation of these components and recommendations, researchers and academic staff will be able to improve their digital competence and use modern information and analytical systems more effectively in their activities. The Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science system is an information and analytical platform that provides access to statistical data on the scientific productivity of Ukrainian scientists, institutions, and journals. It collects, analyzes, and presents data on publications, citations, and other important metrics used to evaluate scientific activity. The development of digital competence of researchers and academic staff is a prerequisite for improving the quality of research in Ukraine and an important aspect of modern education and science, so the use of the Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science system can be an effective tool in this process. Systematic approach to training and support of researchers will not only improve their skills but also simplify the integration of new technologies into scientific activities. This will not only optimize the management of scientific information, but also create a favorable environment for the development of science in general.
