Abrogation of the Recitation Between Affirmation and Denial

Abstract

ينهض البحثُ للوقوفِ على مسألةٍ مهمةٍ من المسائلِ التي أثارت خلافًا بين العلماء  المتقدمين والمعاصرين، وهي مسألة النسخِ في القرآنِ الكريمِ (نسخ التلاوة وبقاء الحكم)، وبيان وقوعهِ في القرآن الكريم؛ إذْ يعمل البحثُ على معالجة آراء القائلين بالنسخ والمعارضين لهُ على السوآء، ومناقشةِ حججِ كلِّ فريقٍ منهم، وقد أشارَ الباحث إلى أنَّ جمهور العلماء من القدماء والمحدثين قالوا بالنسخ، ولم يُنكرهُ إلَّا قلةٌ منهم؛ لكنَّ ذلك لم يؤثر في رأي الباحث كما فعلَ في آراءِ بعضِ منْ تبنى النسخَ لمقياس الكثرةِ، وهو من أحدُ الأخطاءِ التي وقعوا فيها، استُهِلَّ البحثُ بتعريفٍ موجزٍ بالنسخِ لغةً واصطلاحًا، بعد ذلك يُعرّجُ على ذكرِ أنواعِ النسخِ في القرآن الكريم، ثمَّ يقفُ البحثُ عند آراءِ الفريقين وحججهم في إثباتِ نسخ التلاوة وبقاء الحُكم، وقد خلص البحث إلى أن القول بوقوع نسخ التلاوة مع بقاء الحكم قول فيه نظر؛ إذ إنّ أدلة الرافضين للقول به أقرب إلى المنطق ممن قال بوقوعه، وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي.This research examines a significant issue that has sparked debate among scholars, both ancient and modern: the concept of abrogation in the Holy Qur’an, its various forms, and its occurrence within the text. The study impartially explores the perspectives of scholars who affirm abrogation and those who deny it, analyzing the arguments of each group. The researchers note that while the majority of scholars, across historical and contemporary periods, support the occurrence of abrogation, a minority reject it. This numerical predominance, however, does not sway the researchers’ stance, unlike some proponents of abrogation who erroneously rely on the prevalence of opinion as a measure of validity. The study begins with a concise definition of abrogation in linguistic and technical terms, followed by an overview of its types in the Qur’an. It then delves into the arguments of both affirming and denying groups regarding the existence of abrogation. The research concludes that the claim of abrogation of recitation—where the recitation is annulled but the ruling persists—is contentious, with evidence from detractors appearing more logically consistent than that of supporters.
