Design of reinforced concrete structure
Abstract
This thesis focuses on two variants of the ceiling slab for the extension of the 5th floor. The first variant is a monolithic ceiling slab, which is lightened using U-Boot formwork. The second variant is the design of a beam ceiling. The next part of the thesis assesses the existing vertical structures, where it was necessary to design reinforcement for the internal columns using FRP wrapping. The outcome of the thesis is a static calculation, a shape drawing, and reinforcement details. The calculations were performed using Scia Engineer 24.0, while the design of the wrapping reinforcement was calculated using Sika Carbodur V7.0.
