Facilitators and Barriers to the Implementation of Functional Behavior Assessment of Student Challenging Behavior at School and Consultations Implemented on that Basis: A Pilot interview study using CFIR（Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research）

Abstract

激しい自傷行為や他害行為，物壊しといった行動上の問題については，それらの症状が固定化する前に，より早期に機能的行動アセスメント（Functional Behavioral Assessment：以下，FBA）に基づく支援などの効果的な介入が行われることが求められる。日本においても，行動上の問題を有する児童生徒が在籍する特別支援学校でFBAに基づくコンサルテーションが実施され，その効果が報告されている（井上ら, 2023）。しかし，日本の学校現場でこれらの介入が広く普及し日常的に実装されているとは言い難い状況にある。以上から本研究では，学校現場でのFBA及びFBAに基づくコンサルテーション実装のための促進・阻害要因を明らかにすることを目的として，実装研究のための統合フレームワーク（Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research：以下，CFIR）を用いたインタビューのパイロットスタディを行った。結果から，教員間の協力やチームでの実施，管理職が実装内容を熟知した上で推進することなどが実装を促進し，一方で教員特有の職務内容による時間的余裕のなさや専門的な情報を得にくい環境，それらにより専門的な知識を有する教員が少数派であることなどが実装を阻害すると考えられた。For challenging behavior at an early stage, such as severe self-harm, harming others, and destruction of property, before symptoms become embedded, effective interventions, such as support based on Functional Behavior Assessment （FBA） is necessary. In Japan, reports have described the implementation and effectiveness of FBA-based consultations in special-needs schools for students with challenging behavior （Inoue et al., 2023). However, such interventions are not widely implemented in Japanese schools. Therefore, this study aimed to identify facilitators and barriers to the implementation of FBA and FBA-based consultations at special-needs schools by conducting pilot interview study using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). The results indicate that implementation is facilitated by cooperation among teachers, team practice, and administrators familiar with FBA, whereas implementation is barriered by a lack of time due to teaching duties, unsuitable environments to obtain specialized information, and fewer teachers with specialized knowledge.Bulletindepartmental bulletin pape
