幼児期における「見立て」行為の検討 ─ ごっこ遊びの中では、どのように「見立て」が行われているのか? ─

Abstract

This study revisits “looking” as a manifestation of symbolic function in early childhood. One of the main components of pretend play is “seeing things as they are. This has conventionally been described and discussed as “seeing A as B and making use of it. On the other hand, it is frequently observed in early childhood that “A is seen as B” due to the unintentional activation of the symbolic function by the individual. Based on these facts, the concept of seeing as the action of the symbolic function that occurs unintentionally was defined as “first seeing,” and the concept of seeing as “seeing A as B and utilizing it,” which has been described as “second seeing. Then, while using this concept, we discussed it in light of children observed in kindergartens, with the aim of capturing the inner reality of “seeing” as children do in their play. As a result, we confirmed the complex interaction between the first and second look-ahead in play.departmental bulletin pape
