Octavio Cordero Palacios (born Santa Rosa, Cuenca (Ecuador), May 3, 1870 – died December 17, 1930)[1] was an Ecuadorian writer, playwright, poet, mathematician, engineer, surveyor, journalist, lawyer, polyglot, Latinist, professor and inventor[2][3]. He was fluent in Latin, Greek, English and French in addition to Spanish.[4].Octavio Cordero Palacios (n.
