A FIGURAÇÃO DA IDENTIDADE LATINO-AMERICANA EM CEM ANOS DE SOLIDÃO

Abstract

This article aims to carry out an analysis of the greatest work of the Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Márquez, One Hundred Years of Solitude. Given the extreme complexity of the work and due to the different themes addressed by the author discussed, make a cut for analysis purposes. Thus, our objective was to try to understand how the novelist literally represented issues related to the construction of Latin American identity. From a methodological point of view, we use the dialectical method, as it allows us to understand the reciprocally mediated relationship between the subject who creates the work and the empirical world in which he is inserted, having the work of art as the scheme of this relationship. As a result of this analysis, we were able to understand that the solitude present in the title of the work is deeply related to the sense of identity represented by the novelist, thus not having a negative meaning.  O presente artigo tem objetivo realizar uma análise da obra máxima do escritor colombiano Gabriel Garcia Márquez, Cem Anos de Solidão. Dada a extrema complexidade da obra e devido aos diferentes temas abordados pelo autor decidimos realizar um recorte para fins de análise. Dessa forma, nosso objetivo foi o de tentar compreender a forma como o romancista representou literariamente questões atinentes a construção da identidade latino-americana. Do ponto de vista metodológico lançamos mão do método dialético, pois o mesmo nos possibilita entendermos a relação reciprocamente mediada entre o sujeito criador da obra e o mundo empírico ao qual ele se encontra inserido tendo como síntese dessa relação a própria obra de arte. Como resultado dessa análise pudemos compreender que a solidão presente no título da obra relaciona-se profundamente com o sentido da identidade representada pelo romancista, não tendo, dessa forma, um sentido negativo
