Environmental Education and urban solid waste: concepts that circulate in dissertation works

Abstract

Este artigo, fruto de levantamento de dissertações de mestrado de 2017, em bases de dados digitais, tratou de sujeitos, ações e direções que conceituam a Educação Ambiental (EA), e inserem a questão dos Resíduos Sólidos Urbanos (RSU). Por meio de revisão da literatura, apresentamos concepções, representações, situações e realidades apontadas pelos autores e autoras, para tratar de questões ambientais e educativas. Concluímos que esforços de produção teórica, bem como construção e atribuição de significados aos conceitos de EA e RSU, respeitam e defendem as políticas governamentais (PNRS) e os eventos deliberativos e consultivos como meios consolidadores das demandas de EA em prol da vida.This paper, the result of a survey of 2017master's theses in digital databases, dealt with subjects, actions and directions that conceptualize Environmental Education (EA), and include the issue of Solid Urban Waste (SUW). Through a literature review, we present conceptions, representations, situations and realities pointed out by the authors, to address environmental and educational issues. We conclude that theoretical production efforts, as well as the construction and attribution of meanings to the concepts of EA and RSU, respect and defend government policies and events as means of consolidating the demands for EA actions in favor of life
