Tabvla Evropae VI : Preservation Lab Treatment Report

Abstract

This is a new acquisition for the John Miller Burnam Classics Library. It is a 1552 hand colored bifolium map of Italy, Europe. It was removed from a book where it was kept folded in half. The title is letterpress printed above a woodcut printed map and hand colored. On the front leaf there is text printed in black ink. The primary support is a thin light beige laid paper.
