Abstract

This item came to the Preservation Lab for exhibition in the Engineering Library. Of particular interest is the foldout map at p.400. This is a full cloth publisher’s binding featuring green cloth with blind tooling and gold lettering on the upper cover and spine. The volume features three foldouts, one at the title page (plate: illustration of the exposition building), another before the “List of Subscribers” (chart: treasurers report), and another following p.400 (map: exposition layout). The pastedowns and endsheets consist of a machine‐made matte dark brown paper and the textblock substrate is a beige machine‐made paper.View Catalog Record: http://uclid.uc.edu/record=b111825
