Experimental Study on the Relationship Between Interaction Styles in Virtual Reality Cooking Games and Food Choices

Abstract

This study investigates how interaction styles in virtual reality (VR) cooking games affect food choices. We will conduct two experiments within the same VR cooking game. The first experiment assesses the impact of preparing healthy versus unhealthy foods on participants' subsequent food choices. The second experiment explores the influence of orderly versus cluttered cooking manners, including tasks like ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and kitchen clean-up, on food selection. The overall aim is to understand how VR cooking experiences might shape real-life dietary decisions and provide insights for promoting healthier eating behaviors
