CULTURA CANÁBICA E VISIBILIDADE ONLINE: REFLEXÕES SOBRE A MACONHA NA INTERNET: Cannabis culture and online visibility: Reflections about Marijuana on the internet

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present an initial reflection on how the image of marijuana and the other processes that involve “cannabis culture” are configured on the internet in a neoliberal context. It seeks to question the infinity of contradictions that surround the current visibility regime and all the creation of narratives, aesthetics, tensions and imaginaries that are built around the plant from texts and images on the internet in order to think about what implications are involved in this process in contemporaneity.A proposta deste artigo é apresentar uma reflexão inicial sobre como a imagem da maconha e os demais processos que envolvem a “cultura canábica” se configuram na internet em um contexto neoliberal. Busca questionar a infinidade de contradições que envolvem o atual regime de visibilidade e toda a criação de narrativas, estéticas, tensões e imaginários que se constroem em torno da planta a partir de imagens na internet a fim de pensarmos quais implicações estão envolvidas neste processo na contemporaneidade.
