A IMPORTÂNCIA DA INTERSECCIONALIDADE NO TRABALHO DO SERVIÇO SOCIAL NA EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL E TECNOLÓGICA

Abstract

The article presents the importance of the feminist approach and intersectionality in the praxis of Social Work, especially in Professional and Technological Education (ETC). Using the Dialectical Historical theory, which enables a critical worldview, and through qualitative research, of the exploratory type and based on bibliographical research and theoretical references, it was identified that intersectionality is fundamental to understand the multiple dimensions that permeate social inequalities and their consequences in the performance of the social worker in the EPT. The results highlight the need for an intersectional approach to the planning and implementation of educational policies that contemplate the different realities and needs of students, especially those who are in a situation of social vulnerability. The study also emphasizes the importance of continuing education of professionals so that they can understand the complexity of inequalities and act more effectively in promoting social justice in the educational environment. Keywords: Social Work; feminism; intersectionality; Professional and Technological Education.O artigo apresenta a importância da abordagem feminista e da interseccionalidade na práxis do Serviço Social, sobretudo na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT). Utilizando-se da teoria Histórica Dialética, que possibilita uma visão de mundo crítica, e por meio da pesquisa qualitativa, do tipo exploratória e baseada em pesquisas bibliográficas e referenciais teóricos, identificou-se que a interseccionalidade é fundamental para entender as múltiplas dimensões que perpassam as desigualdades sociais e suas consequências na atuação da(o) assistente social na EPT. Os resultados destacam a necessidade de uma abordagem interseccional para o planejamento e implementação de políticas educacionais que contemplem as diferentes realidades e necessidades dos estudantes, principalmente aqueles que se encontram em situação de vulnerabilidade social. O estudo ressalta ainda a importância da formação continuada dos profissionais para que possam compreender a complexidade das desigualdades e atuar de forma mais efetiva na promoção da justiça social no ambiente educacional
