O SERVIÇO SOCIAL E EDUCAÇÃO: REFLEXÕES A PARTIR DO LIVRO TIJOLOS CONTRA MUROS

Abstract

The main objective of this article is to propose reflections on the work of the Social Service in the area of Education based on the contributions in the book "Bricks against walls: critical contributions from the Social Service in Education" published by the Group of Studies and Research on Social Service in the area of Education (GEPESSE) in 2022. The methodological procedure chosen was bibliographical research based on the work cited and other authors who contribute to the understanding of education policy, as well as sharing the struggle for a public, secular, critical and socially referenced education. The results of the theoretical reflection indicate some contributions on the subject and possible guidelines for the professional category in Social Work.O presente artigo tem como objetivo central propor reflexões sobre o trabalho do Serviço Social na área da Educação a partir das contribuições presentes no livro “Tijolos contra muros: contribuições críticas do Serviço Social na Educação” publicado pelo Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Serviço Social na área da Educação (GEPESSE), em 2022. O procedimento metodológico eleito foi a pesquisa bibliográfica a partir da obra citada e de outros autores que contribuem para o entendimento da política de educação, bem como compartilham da luta por uma educação pública, laica, crítica e socialmente referenciada. A reflexão teórica indica em seus resultados algumas contribuições sobre o tema e possíveis orientações para a categoria profissional em Serviço Social.&nbsp
