Bonuses as non-monetary rewards from selected global employers

Abstract

Nedenarne nagrade so tisto »več«, kar lahko delodajalec ponudi zaposlenim, in so pomemben dejavnik privabljanja in zadrževanja zaposlenih ter predstavljajo konkurenčno prednost delodajalca na trgu dela, tudi ko ta deluje globalno. V tem magistrskem delu so predstavljene bonitete kot nedenarne nagrade, in sicer na primeru delodajalcev prejemnikov nagrade »Great Place to Work«. Podatki so pridobljeni s spletne strani Glassdoor (https://www.greatplacetowork.com/, 2023). Teoretični del naloge je podlaga za raziskovalni del. Z dobrim upravljanjem blagovne znamke delodajalca podjetje dviguje zanimanje med iskalci zaposlitve, na drugi strani pa za zaposlene gradi organizacijsko kulturo, kjer jih, kot enega izmed deležnikov, postavi v središče. Nagrada za delo je za zaposlenega povratna informacija, kako njegovo delo in trud vidi delodajalec. To lahko delodajalec pokaže z neko boniteto, ki ima lahko za zaposlenega večjo vrednost od same denarne nagrade. Ko združimo najboljše delodajalce s podatki o bonitetah, dobimo odgovor, katere so tiste, ki so jih deležni zaposleni pri teh delodajalcih, glede na geografsko območje, v katerem podjetja delujejo. To je glavna tema tega drugega raziskovalnega dela magistrske naloge.Non-monetary rewards are the most that an employer can offer to employees. Non-monetary rewards are an important factor in attracting and retaining employees and shift the employer\u27s competitive advantage on the labor market, even when you operate globally. In this master\u27s thesis, credit ratings are presented as non-monetary rewards, using the example of employers receiving the Great Place to Work award. Information about the credit ratings of these employers is obtained from the website Glassdoor. The theoretical part of the assignment is the basis for the research part. With good employer brand management, the company raises interest among job seekers, and on the other hand, builds an organizational culture for employees where they, as one of the stakeholders, are at the center. For the employee, the reward for work is feedback on how his work and effort are seen by the employer. This can also be shown in a bonus or benefit, which can have a greater value for the employee than the monetary reward itself. When we combine the best employers together with data on the benefitswith, we get the answer of which ones are received by the employees according to the geographical area in which the companies operate, and this is the topic of the second, research work, master\u27s thesis
