Abstract
A New condensed heterocyclic compound, furo[4,3,2-de][1]benzopyran was synthesized and examined some reactions. The reactions of 6-methoxy-3-methylbenzofuran and indole derivatives with 2,3-dichloro- 5,6-dicyano-p-benzoquinone (DDQ) gave carbon-oxygen adduct and carbon-carbon adducts, respectively.
