NILAI-NILAI SOSIAL DALAM LIRIK LAGU “DOA PENGOBRAL DOSA” KARYA IWAN FALS

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social values contained in the lyrics of Iwan Fals' song entitled "Doa Pengobral Dosa". The theory used is the social value according to Notonegoro which is classified into several kinds. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The data collection stage uses literature study. The technique used is the note-taking technique. After collecting data, the next step is the data analysis stage. The data were analyzed descriptively. Then the presentation of the results of data analysis is presented using verbal language in writing. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the song "Doa Pengobral Sin" is very thick with social values. Starting from moral values, religious values, spiritual values are contained in it. This is well described by Iwan Fals through the figure of a mother who works as a prostitute to raise her children in the lyrics of the song.
