Pharmacological therapy versus cognitive processing therapy in treating veterans with PTSD

Abstract

Veterans often suffer from PTSD which can be treated both with pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment. Exploration has shown that CPT is preferred over pharmacological therapy, however it is suggested that combined therapy can be beneficial due to the complexity of PTSD.
