STYLISTIC FEATURES OF NEWSPAPER HEADLINES ON THE MATERIALS OF ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the language of newspaper headlines, it examines the lexico-stylistic and grammatical-syntactic features of English titles and the difficulties of their translation. The functional and linguistic features of newspaper headlines allow them to be distinguished into a special genre of newspaper style. The headings concentrate many lexical and grammatical features of the newspaper style, they most clearly reflect the characteristic features of the language of the newspaper
